My daughter is cooking today. I started off the day putting some stitches on "Galatea". I am excited that the two handed stitching is working for me and I feel like I am really making progress!
UFO with a Great Fabric Choice

I joined the new group "UFOs" and looked around to see what is the first project I would like to finish. In the corner of my office/studio was "Galatea" by Passione Ricamo on a floor stand with a scroll frame. I had wanted to do a large mermaid and chose this design. I then found the perfect piece of fabric at PTP. It is "Splash" and I chose it because it has some light areas that I thought would look like light shimmering through the water.
